Identity tracking

Based on the images received from the surveillance cameras IDENTRACE is able to track persons, vehicles or other objects (for example shopping carts) present in the observed area through all camera views.

By tracking shapes in the individual camera images and also by handing over the tracked objects between separate (non-overlapping) camera views, as well as keeping track of all movements within the observed area 24 hours a day, IDENTRACE is able to answer questions like for example "Where are or where were people located at a certain point of time", or "What was the route that one has walked through during the last couple of hours".

This technology is integrated in Site-Wide Object Tracking Server (SWOT).
